Two Arrested for Felony Drugs
Idaho Falls, ID – Idaho Falls Police arrested two people for felony drug possession in two separate incidents on Monday.
Jacob H. C. Schweppe, 37, of Ammon was booked into the Bonneville County Jail for felony
possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without privileges and resisting and obstructing.
According to reports, officers stopped a white Ford Pickup, driven by Schweppe, in the 1300 block
of John Adams around 6:17 p.m. During the stop, he was found to have a suspended license. As he was being placed under arrest he resisted.
While in custody, he was found in possession of Methamphetamine and a syringe.
Mark W. Tanner, 35, of Shelley was booked into the Bonneville County Jail for felony possession of a controlled substance, open container and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to reports, officers responded to the 1500 block of John Adams for a report of an
intoxicated driver around 11:30 a.m. Officers found Tanner asleep in his car with the engine running in an automatic car wash. There was an open container of alcohol in the car.
Tanner was also found in possession of Heroin and syringes.
