Man arrested in connection to theft of a $8,000 ring in IF

I.F. Man Arrested for Grand Theft
Idaho Falls, ID – Idaho Falls Police arrested 29‐year‐old Victor D. Schwartz for grand theft after he
stole an $8,000 ring from Jensen Jewelry Monday afternoon.
Schwartz of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
According to reports, officers responded to the business, located in the Grand Teton Mall, around
2:30 p.m. for a report of a stolen ring. Employees advised a man, later identified as Schwartz, took a
diamond ring valued at $8,000.
Schwartz took off in a Toyota Highlander. He was later found and arrested at his residence in the
3200 block of First Street.

I.F. Man Arrested for Aggravated Battery
Idaho Falls, ID – Idaho Falls Police arrested 28‐year‐old Tomas J. Sandoval for aggravated battery
and driving without privileges Monday afternoon.
Sandoval of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
According to reports, officers responded to a disturbance in the 1400 block of West Broadway
around 1:30 p.m. The reporting party stated a vehicle, driven by Sandoval, was ramming into
another vehicle, driven by a 46‐year‐old woman.
Officers made contact with both Sandoval and the woman. The woman told police she and Sandoval
had gotten into an argument. When she drove away, Sandoval followed her and struck her vehicle
several times with the vehicle he was driving trying to stop her.
Sandoval has a suspended driver’s license.

Two Arrested for Drugs
Idaho Falls, ID – Idaho Falls Police arrested 26‐year‐old Kelsey M. Holverson and 29‐year‐old Kelly
Bateman for felony possession of a controlled substance and felony concealment of a controlled
substance early Tuesday morning.
Holverson and Bateman, both homeless, were booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
According to reports, officers were dispatched to First Street and Tabor Avenue for a domestic
disturbance around 12:48 a.m. Officers contacted Holverson and Bateman. Both were found trying
to conceal 6.4 grams of Methamphetamine and two glass pipes from the police.
