Two Arrested for Drugs
Idaho Falls, ID – Idaho Falls Police arrested 48‐year‐old Jesse Morales and 31‐year‐old Helen R.
Gericke for multiple drug related offenses following a traffic stop Wednesday night.
Morales of Hayden and Gericke of Idaho Falls were booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
According to reports, officers made a traffic stop on a gold Dodge Stratus, driven by Morales, at
Memorial and B Street around 11:30 p.m. During the stop, Morales was found to have an active
warrant out of Kootenai County.
Morales and Gericke were also found in possession of drug paraphernalia had been involved in
drug activity in their room at the Motel 6 on Broadway.
Officers found Heroin, Methamphetamine, marijuana and more drug paraphernalia in the room.
Morales was arrested for the warrant, possession of Heroin, possession of Methamphetamine,
possession of Marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a concealed weapon.
Gericke was arrested for possession of Methamphetamine, possession of Heroin, possession of
Marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

I.F. Woman Arrested for Grand Theft
Idaho Falls, ID – Idaho Falls Police arrested 23‐year‐old Ashley Briggs for grand theft for stealing
thousands of dollars from the Lifetouch Portrait Studio at JC Penneys.
Briggs of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
According to reports, officers responded to JC Penneys, 2320 E. 17th St., on Wednesday in reference
to an employee theft. Store managers reported to police Briggs had been conducting large amounts
of fraudulent cash refunds.
Between November 2015 and May 2016, it’s suspected Briggs stole between $2,000 and $8,100.

I.F. Man Arrested for Lewd Conduct
Idaho Falls, ID – Idaho Falls Police arrested 19‐year‐old Andrew M. James on a warrant for lewd
conduct with a child under 16 Wednesday night.
James of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
According to reports, officers began investigating James in late April after receiving information he
was having inappropriate contact with a 15‐year‐old girl.
